Snickerdoodles

All the cinnamony goodness of a doughnut in the shape and texture of a cookie. YUM!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup raw sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup sunflower oil

  • 4 oz apple sauce

  • 1 Tbs vanilla extract

  • 1 Tbs almond milk

  • A bowl with a little sugar and cinnamon combined for rolling

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 190 C

  2. Sift flour into a bowl. Add dry ingredients, sugar, baking soda and salt and mix to combine

  3. In a separate bowl combine oil, apple sauce, vanilla and milk

  4. Add your wet mix to the dry ingredients and mix to combine

  5. Roll into small balls and dip into the cinnamon sugar mixture

  6. Spread cookies evenly over a baking paper lined tray and press gently to slightly flatten your cookies

  7. Bake for 13 minutes

  8. Cool on a rack and enjoy.
